What airlines and destinations do you cover?
Check the airlines & destinations page.
How far into the future can Adioso search?
At the moment, Adioso tracks flights about 4 months into the future on most routes and up to 11 months on some.
We'll be gradually expanding our coverage, eventually out to a full 12-months on each airline, once we have the capacity.
How do I find a return flight?
Prices shown are for one-way flights, but Adioso can put together a return trip for you.
Once you've found a suitable outbound flight, click the "Details" button. You'll then see two buttons: "Book one way" and "Find return trip".
By clicking "Find return trip", you'll be able to choose return options on any airline - not just the airline you chose for your outbound trip.
Why doesn't Adioso include traditional airlines like American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, etc?
A few reasons.
The first is that we've made it a priority to include low-cost airlines because they're the airlines we prefer to use for our own travels.
We find low-cost airlines offer not just a more affordable fare, but a more pleasant experience all round.
Low-cost carriers now cover so much of the world that it's possible to take long international trips by joining together flights from different airlines, saving piles of money and making for a more interesting journey.
The hard part is knowing what airlines and flights are available at what times to be able to assemble the optimal trip.
Adioso solves this problem by searching all the flights in our database to create trips between any two places, optimised for price, trip duration, route, or airline preferences.
As well as being more affordable and pleasant, low-cost airlines offer much more flexibility as they usually sell fares as individual one-way flights, rather than round trips. So you can travel via completely different airlines and routes to and from your destination.
Traditional airlines usually have far more complex ways of selling fares that don't allow you to mix and match the way you can with low-cost airlines.
Over time we hope to include all airlines, including traditional carriers, but we expect to be kept busy adding low-cost airlines for a while yet.
Why doesn't Adioso include [my favourite airline]?
If it's a low-cost airline, it's probably on our list of airlines to add, but if you tell us what it is via the feedback form below, we might be able to make it a priority.
If it's a traditional airline, it'll probably be a while before we get to it, but feel free to let us know anyway.
